About
Futsal is five-a-side indoor football: a much smaller pitch than the eleven-a-side game, with a heavier low-bounce ball. It is fast, you touch the ball constantly, and rain never cancels it — Sydney indoor centres take evening bookings year-round.
We split into two to four rotating teams depending on numbers, ten minutes a round, losers rotate off. Teams are mixed by level, so ex-school-team players and people whose last match was in PE end up balancing each other out.
How it works
- Fill in the form below — you do not need a group to sign up
- We add you to the activity group on WeChat
- The group votes on a time and a venue nearby
- Numbers are confirmed the day before, and we go once we have enough people
What to bring
- Flat-soled indoor shoes — studded boots are not allowed on indoor courts
- Shin pads are recommended; the pitch is small and contact happens more than you would think
- Bring one light and one dark top so we can split teams on the spot
- Court hire is split evenly and the ball is on us
